The plain-language explainer. Three numbers that hold the whole system together — and how they fit inside the 36-hour Tenology clock.
The Tenology time system is built on three numbers: a 585-day year, 18 uptops per cycle, and a 220-day lead over the Gregorian calendar. They are not independent — they are three views of the same underlying clock.
The year is 13 months of 45 days each. The day is 36 hours, twice the standard 18-hour half. Each hour is 18 uptops. So 18 uptops × 90 real seconds per uptop = one Tenology hour, and 36 hours close one Tenology day.

5 labels × 18 ticks per label = 90 ticks = one full rotation of the orange hand. One full rotation takes 90 real seconds, which is one Tenology uptop cycle.
18 uptop cycles make one Tenology hour. 18 Tenology hours make one half-day. 36 Tenology hours — two halves — make one full Tenology day.
